Timeline for Is there a way to easily diagram sentences for answers here? And is that typically used as a EFL tool?

I understand that the R-K diagrams have some issues linguistically, but for elementary parsing I think they're brilliant. It was parsing sentences in this way that piqued my interested in language when I was almost completely focused on science and math. (I love solving puzzles!) Maybe if I had been taught syntax trees I'd feel the same way about them, but I think the schema of R-K is more elegant. | |
